Phantom F5K 1.5m

The Phantom is a very nice balsa build-it-yourself kit from Armsoar. This polyhedral balsa built up model has ailerons and flaps flies nearly as well as composite models costing many times more.

The Phantom is a balsa RC glider kit meant for not only sport flying, but to fly in F5K and electric-assist DLG competitions. The Phantom is designed with the same care for performance as composite models, taking into account the balsa structure and optimized for its flying weight.

Easily to handle and forgiving, the Phantom will allow you to catch thermals with confidence whether you are a beginner or advanced pilot.

The wing can be broken down into three pieces, and the V-tail is fully removable into two flat surfaces to make it highly portable.
